All of our pieces are shipped from our London studio and will be shipped within 3 days after your order has been placed. If you are in a hurry, please contact us.
Items sent within the UK will either be sent by First Class Royal Mail, Next Day Special Delivery, or UPS Standard depending on the value of the item and your preference.
Royal Mail Next Day Special Delivery: guaranteed next day delivery, tracking number provided, must be signed for
UPS Standard: 1 to 2 working days, tracking number provided, must be signed for. For items sent internationally, we use Royal Mail Airsure or UPS Standard.
Royal Mail Airsure: estimated 2-5 days delivery time, tracking number provided, must be signed for.
UPS Standard: Shipping depends on the country of destination but 1 to 3 days is estimated for most countries. Tracking number is provided and parcel must be signed for.

WHAT TAXES ARE INCURRED?
Orders do not include possible taxes and/or duties as required by the country to where the order is delivered. Please check with your country’s local customs office regarding specific taxes and/ or duties. These duties and taxes are not the responsibility of Lakkota and are solely the responsibility of the customer. Please check your local customs website, or contact them directly, to obtain this information prior to placing your order.
International Customers may be charged a currency conversion fee from their bank. Any such fee is not the responsibility of Lakkota and is solely the responsibility of the customer. If your failure to comply with customs results in your package being returned to Lakkota, you will be liable for any fees charged for return and re-delivery.
RETURNS & EXCHANGE POLICY?
As each piece is hand finished according to the specifications of an order, we do not offer returns or refunds. All items are thoroughly quality controlled and checked for any faults before dispatch.
To arrange an exchange, please contact us. Upon receipt of a request to exchange, an Exchange Form will be issued to the customer and this Form must be sent back completed with the items to be exchanged. Products that do not have the original packaging and Exchange Form completed will not be eligible for exchange. All items returned for exchange must be new, unused, and in its original packaging. Once the product has been received, the returns team will assess its condition. If the product is confirmed as new, unused and eligible for exchange, the replacement product will be dispatched. If the product does not meet these conditions, our returns department has the right to refuse a return and in this case, the item will be returned to the address on the original order. Exchanges can only be made for products of equal or greater value and we do not allow exchange more than once. All shipping charges for exchanges are incurred by the customer. We recommend using a tracked method of postage to ensure it reaches us safely as we are not responsible for lost, stolen or undelivered parcels. Customers who are located outside the U.K. may also incur duties and taxes.
If you receive an item that is faulty, a request to exchange must be made within 24 hours of receipt of goods. We are not responsible for any damages reported after this time period. The item will be assessed by our team and, if it is confirmed as being faulty, we will reimburse the delivery cost for the return within 7 – 10 working days of being notified of the problem. CAN I GET STORE CREDIT?
We will happily offer a credit note if you simply change your mind once you have received your purchases. The Return and Exchange Policy conditions apply.
CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER?
Our team gets to work on an order as soon as it is received by us and therefore once an order is submitted we are unable to change or cancel your order. Please ensure to check all orders prior to confirming any transactions.
HOW DO I CARE FOR MY JEWELLERY?
Keep your Lakkota pieces in its original boxes when not in use to keep dust away. This will also help to avoid abrasion with other jewellery pieces and keep the natural crystals unscratched. It is highly recommended to store your pieces in a cool dry place.
Bead embroidered pieces are delicate as they are made with glass beads and natural gemstones that can break if dropped on the floor. Please handle and treat them with care.
Be mindful to remove your Lakkota pieces prior to hand washing, showering or swimming. This is a vital preventive measure to ensure longer-lasting wear of your beloved jewellery items. Do not wear lotion around your neck or wrists when wearing costume jewelry for the same reasons listed above as it could ruin the finish on the necklaces/bracelets. Your jewellery should always be put on last and taken off first while dressing to avoid chemicals such as, perfumes, deodorants, hair spray, household cleaning fluids, make-up and other cosmetics.
Bracelets, chokers and bags can be wiped with a soft damp white cloth and left to dry indoors. Please ensure that items dry thoroughly because the moisture will cause your jewels to deteriorate. Never leave pieces with natural crystals in the sun as this can affect their composition and colouring and cause the gemstones to fade. Avoid using any abrasive jewelry cleaners products such as acid, alcohol, ammonia and vinegar as these can rust and damage your jewelry.
